Business Development Manager
ThreePDS is seeking a transitioning service member to participate in a hands-on Business Development training program. The participant will learn how to identify prospective clients, build professional relationships, develop staffing opportunities, and support the growth of a recruiting, staffing, and consulting organization.This opportunity is ideal for someone who wants to apply their military leadership, communication, strategic planning, and relationship-management experience to a civilian career in business development, sales, account management, or talent solutions.
Key ResponsibilitiesResearch and identify prospective clients and business opportunities.Conduct outreach through telephone calls, email, LinkedIn, networking, and industry events.Introduce prospective clients to ThreePDS recruiting, staffing, and consulting services.Build relationships with hiring managers, business leaders, government agencies, and community partners.Schedule discovery meetings and assist with client presentations.Learn how to assess workforce needs and recommend appropriate staffing solutions.Maintain accurate records of contacts, conversations, and follow-up activities in the company’s CRM.Monitor market trends and identify industries with potential hiring needs.Coordinate with recruiters to ensure client requirements are clearly communicated.Support proposals, capability statements, follow-up campaigns, and other business-development initiatives.Participate in weekly pipeline reviews and business-planning meetings.Represent ThreePDS professionally and uphold the company’s high-touch, relationship-driven approach.

Currently serving on active duty in the U.S. Armed Forces.Within 180 days of separation or retirement on the anticipated program start date.Eligible to participate under the requirements of the service member’s military branch.Able to obtain written approval from the appropriate commander before beginning the program.Available to complete the approved SkillBridge schedule and program duration.Completed, or actively completing, required transition-assistance activities.Able to work in the position’s designated onsite, hybrid, or remote environment.Authorized to work in the United States following military separation.
