Internship to learn the process of logistical management

Position Summary: Manage, coordinate and execute activities necessary for success of all programming, events and agendas for The Warriors Journey. To provide logistics support by owning activities such as reviewing and providing comments on strategy and providing budgetary estimates. To manage the relationships with all outside entities TWJ deals with. To monitor performance of all members of TWJ staff as well as vendors/partners that TWJ is in relationship with. The individual in this role will be the logistics subject matter expert for the organization with knowledge in areas such as roles, strategies, and all other areas of operations and logistical procedures. Responsibilities: Coordinate logistics activities with Operations and Project Managers while working with and directing relationships and partnerships. Responsible for reviewing logistics requirements and developing a plan, soliciting competitive bids, and selecting and implementing a plan of action for all areas of ministry. Responsible for reviewing necessary documents related to contracts and partnerships. Responsible for coordinating and developing MOU’s with all partner organizations. Participate in selection and approval of current and future partnerships and their roles. Proactively communicate with internal and external partners throughout the process; ensure completion of all projects and event. Advise proposals, project management and procurement teams on best practices for all current and new projects and planning. Requirements: 7+ years’ experience in Logistics/SCM. Experience in the leading teams and logistical management. Proficient PC Skills (MS Office, ERP etc)
