The Starting Grid Foundation’s SkillBridge Internship connects transitioning Service members with hands-on opportunities in motorsports, tailored to their skills—whether in technical or corporate roles. Interns gain industry experience, build professional networks, and prepare for post-military careers with top teams and series.
The Starting Grid Foundation’s SkillBridge Internship Program provides transitioning Service members with a unique opportunity to gain real-world experience in the motorsports industry. Participants will be placed with a professional race team or series in a role aligned with their background and skillset—whether in technical operations (e.g., pit crew, vehicle prep, garage support) or corporate functions (e.g., marketing, business development, event management). Interns will contribute directly to team success while building valuable industry connections and skills that support long-term career growth in motorsports.
Open to all MOS / ratings / AFSCs.
Travel required, strong technical background preferred
Travel required to attend team or series HQ as well as various race weekends
