Founded by Carl Cyrius, EA, MBA, our firm is committed to equipping transitioning service members with real-world business skills that translate into long-term career success.This immersive internship delivers hands-on experience and structured training in three key areas of our tax service operations:Lead Generation & Appointment Coordination – Learn how to attract, qualify, and schedule prospective clients using modern digital tools and proven outreach strategies.Client Onboarding & Relationship Management – Gain experience guiding clients through our intake process with professionalism and empathy, ensuring a smooth and compliant start to their tax journey.Tax Preparation & Filing Support – Work alongside Enrolled Agents and tax professionals to understand the fundamentals of preparing and reviewing individual and small business tax returns.This is more than an internship. It's an opportunity to transition with purpose, while gaining mentorship, skill development, and a potential civilian career path in the tax industry.
As a SkillBridge Intern at The Oasis Firm, you will step into a dynamic and purpose-driven environment where tax expertise meets client care. This internship is designed to provide transitioning service members with real-world exposure to the operations of a modern tax services firm.You will be trained and mentored in core areas of the business from prospect engagement and appointment scheduling to onboarding new clients and assisting with tax return preparation. Interns will shadow experienced professionals, work with cutting-edge CRM and tax software, and take part in team meetings that drive business strategy and client satisfaction.This role is ideal for those who are detail-oriented, eager to learn, and ready to apply their military discipline to a mission that empowers individuals and small businesses financially.

There are no direct or indirect costs to the service member. The Oasis Firm provides all necessary training materials, software access, and mentorship at no charge. Interns will be given supervised access to CRM systems, tax preparation tools, and onboarding platforms as part of their structured learning experience. The program is designed to be fully accessible and supportive during the transition period.
