Mission Essential is seeking a GEOINT Trainer to support a new and exciting effort at ONI! The GEOINT Trainer shall provide full-time training/tradecraft development and certification/qualification documentation review support for the GEOINT doctrine and tradecraft.
Duties include but are not limited to:Assist in the continual development of GEOINT Processing Exploitation and Dissemination (PED) watch standard operating procedures (SOP), Geospatial Information Systems (GI&S), tradecraft skills, GEOINT system operations and exploitation techniques into the daily analytical analysis process, as required.Provide analysis and production tradecraft practices to watch personnel, for example, products, reports, graphics and application functions. Provide peer-to-peer review of shift products as needed. Provide guidance and instruction on analysis and exploitation of NTM, commercial, airborne and other geospatial information related data. Review and quality control data published into Intelligence Community (IC) and Navy GEOINT databases. Provide GEOINT tradecraft training and mentorship of new/current watch personnel.Support government subject matter experts during National System for Geospatial-lntelligence (NSG) (e.g. SOM, GTPDS and AMOD), program or Service Technical Exchange Meetings (TEM) and Navy tradecraft working groups (e.g. HIPR).Assist the government in development, submission, and updating of guidelines and recommendations for conducting proper use of intelligence research tools and the submission of ad-hoc intelligence collection requirements.Provide GEOINT PED support to the Fleet's GEOINT watches. The tradecraft development support shall include research and identification of all current sources of Geospatial-lntelligence that satisfy Navy, IC, and the Department of Defense (DoD) requirements to include, but not limited to, Full Motion Video (FMV), Maritime Moving Target Indicator (MMTI), and Full Spectrum GEOINT (FSG) PED analysis support.Accompany ONI GEOINT personnel to local meetings or conferences related to GEOINT PED analytical support and certification testing as it pertains to defined mission and capabilities to better enhance training/certification process and provide contractor situational awareness of new initiatives or emerging technologies that may be incorporated into the GEOINT PED training program.Minimum Qualifications:5 years practical work experience exploiting National Technical Means (NTM) Imagery or college degree in GEOINT related field1-year GEOINT experience in exploitation of one or more of the following: panchromatic, radar, IR, MSI2 years of practical work experience using one or more of the following: National & Tactical GEOINT architectures, Orchestration Services, IESS or Orchestration Services SIPRFormal military imagery analysis training or equivalent civilian remote sensing certification
