AT&F - Internship
Come fabricate large scale parts for Submarines, Aircraft Carriers, and Construction and Mining equipment. AT&F is a leading metal fabricator in Cleveland, OH that has been serving a vast industry base since 1940.
Welding and fitting on large scale metal fabrications utilizing GMAW and GTAW welding processes. Welding is typically multi-pass with full penetration welds. Parts are large in scale and Team Members are typically welding on top of the parts or in the parts. Being able to move and adapt physically into different positions to achieve quality welds is important. Welding is done to various welding codes including AWS, ASME, AISC, and Miliary Specifications. The understanding of weld symbols, blueprints, tolerancing, and non-destructive testing is important.
