Active Directory AdministratorLocation: Onsite in Raleigh, NCCompensation: Up to $75,000, based on performance and experience, upon successfulcompletion of the SkillBridge program.About the Role:The Active Directory Administrator will be responsible for managing and advancing our client’senterprise identity and endpoint management infrastructure. This role supports 4,500+ devices across 100+ departments and plays a critical part in implementing the university’s transition from legacy AD structures to a modern persona-based access model.

Roles & job description

Key Responsibilities:1. Administer and maintain Active Directory, Group Policies, and security configurations.2. Design and deploy access controls, permissions, and software packages via AD/SCCM.3. Support identity management initiatives, including the transition to persona-based directory services.4. Oversee VM administration tasks tied to AD policy enforcement.5. Collaborate with IT leadership and security teams on endpoint compliance and enterprise policy development.6. Provide technical guidance for ongoing projects, system upgrades, and organizational access strategies.Required Qualifications:1. Systems Administration/Network Administration experience.2. Strong Experience working with Active Directory3. Strong communication skills 30% of the role is working with end clients/Users.Preferred Skills:1. Active Directory & Group Policy Administration a. Creation, management, and troubleshooting of Group Policy Objects (GPOs) b. Managing permissions, security protocols, and organizational units (OUs)2. Identity & Access Management a. Experience with persona-based access models b. Understanding of role-based access control aligned to job hierarchies3. Endpoint & VM Administration a. Administering virtual machines and endpoint compliance through AD and SCCM policies4. Policy Development & Deployment a. Writing and implementing AD policies that support software deployment, security compliance, and enterprise device management
