This 12-week SkillBridge program is designed to provide transitioning service members with practical experience supporting a Department of Defense Cyber Security Service Provider (CSSP). Throughout the program, participants will progressively build technical knowledge and hands-on skills in cybersecurity engineering, Risk Management Framework (RMF), vulnerability management, system sustainment, and security operations.The curriculum follows a structured progression from organizational onboarding and systems familiarization to increasingly advanced engineering and cyber defense activities. Participants will work alongside experienced cybersecurity professionals while gaining exposure to the tools, processes, and documentation required to support mission-critical defensive cyber operations.
Design, implement, and maintain cybersecurity measures for U.S. government systems, often under strict compliance and security requirements. These roles are critical to protecting sensitive data, national infrastructure, and classified information from cyber threats.
This position is 100% onsite at Fort Belvoir, VA.
