The Construction Foreman oversees construction tasks and supervises on-site personnel and subcontractors. This pivotal role ensures the coordination of projects to enhance profitability, surpass client expectations, and deliver high-quality results meeting or exceeding industry standards. Additionally, the Construction Foreman serves as the Job Site Safety Officer, responsible for implementing injury and illness prevention policies. Reporting directly to the Director, the Foreman is accountable for efficient, timely, and safe services in alignment with ethical and professional standards.
The ideal candidate for this position should possess a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in commercial petroleum construction installation and supervision. The candidate should demonstrate excellent judgment and the ability to adapt to evolving field conditions and requirements. Additionally, a 24 or 40-hour HAZWOPER certificate or a current 8-hour refresher course is mandatory. A valid Driver's License is a prerequisite for the role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Teams, and Word, is essential to effectively fulfill the responsibilities of the position. Preferred certifications include ICC UST Install/Retrofit, ICC UST Removal, and ICC Service Technician, along with Veeder Root certifications. The candidate must have the ability to drive a company vehicle to job sites and be capable of covering extensive distances, occasionally up to 1000 miles per week.
