Roles & job description

The Electronics Repair Technician SkillBridge position provides hands-on, on-the-job training for transitioning Service Members. Participants will train under supervision in diagnosing and repairing smartphones, tablets, laptops, and related consumer electronics.Training includes device intake procedures, troubleshooting, component replacement, use of professional repair tools, adherence to safety and quality standards, and customer service operations. Duties are training-focused and progressively increase based on demonstrated competency.This SkillBridge position is structured to support skill development and civilian workforce transition. Employment after completion is not guaranteed.

Additional notes

This is an unpaid DoD SkillBridge training opportunity. Participants continue to receive military pay and benefits through their branch of service. Training schedules are coordinated with command approval.
