Program summary

Starfish Space provides satellite servicing missions with its Otter servicing vehicle, including life extension missions for geostationary satellites and disposal missions for low Earth orbit satellites. Founded in 2019, Starfish has raised over $150M in venture capital funding and built a team of engineers with experience spanning satellite guidance, navigation, control, and autonomous robotics. Starfish has launched several missions to-date, and is focused on delivering Otter satellite servicing missions for SES, the U.S. Space Force, the Space Development Agency, NASA, and others.Our SkillBridge internships are flexible in terms of length and start date. We require candidates to work in-person at our offices in the Seattle area.

Roles & job description

Opportunities may include work on the Business Development, Company Operations, or Engineering teams. Our technical teams are mainly composed of mechanical, aerospace, systems, and software engineers. We are potentially able to support internships in roles other than those currently listed on our hiring page, but as a startup we are unable to guarantee a full-time opportunity in that role at the end of the internship.

Open to all MOS / ratings / AFSCs.

Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
