THE POSITION: STACK is seeking a SkillBridge Construction & Critical Operations Project Analyst to support mission-critical data center construction and operational readiness initiatives. This role is designed as a hands-on industry training opportunity for transitioning service members seeking experience in large-scale infrastructure delivery and critical environment operations. This role will require direct engagement with construction managers, commissioning teams, critical operations leaders, and vendors to support schedule tracking, risk management, and operational readiness planning across active data center projects. As a technical communicator and analyst, the Project Analyst will bring a systems-level understanding of infrastructure execution, operational risk, and disciplined process control. They will excel in translating field conditions into actionable data, documentation, and leadership-ready insights
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES: Support data center construction and critical operations teams with project tracking, reporting, and coordination Analyze construction schedules, commissioning plans, and operational readiness milestones to identify risk, gaps, and dependencies Assist in Owner’s Project Management activities including RFIs, submittal tracking, and issue logs Support commissioning and integrated systems testing (IST) preparation and documentation Develop and maintain dashboards, trackers, and metrics related to schedule, cost, quality, and readiness Participate in field walks, coordination meetings, and operational reviews Assist with vendor coordination and documentation control Support development of standard operating procedures (SOPs), lessons learned, and process improvements Translate military operational discipline into repeatable, scalable construction and operations workflows

Location: Flexible / Market-based (aligned with active STACK projects) Travel: On a case by case basis Compensation: Paid by U.S. Department of Defense under SkillBridge (non-compensated by STACK) Benefits: Provided through military benefits during SkillBridge participation Must be eligible to work in the United States Must be within 180 Days of Separation from Active Duty Must be command approved for participation in the OSD SkillBridge Program Must pass comprehensive background and drug screening MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS: Military experience (engineering, construction, facilities, logistics, operations, or related field) 2-10+ years of military experience in operations, engineering, facilities, or project execution roles (or an equivalent role) Experience working in mission-critical, high-reliability, or regulated environments Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams under schedule pressure Highly proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint Basic knowledge of schedules, technical documentation, or construction drawings Strong analytical and written communication skills THIS MIGHT BE RIGHT FOR YOU IF: You are a strong communicator, you are persuasive and clear, blending analytics with experience in decision-making.
