Roles & job description

Serves as a Medical Technician in a Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS). Incumbent of this position provides assistance to the examining Medical Officer with applicant examination and identification of observable physical characteristics (e.g., missing digits, scoliosis, pes planus), to include supporting the discovery of potential disqualifying enlistment or retention factors, and supporting the Medical Officer’s determination of an applicant’s fitness for military duty. All duties are performed under the supervision of the Medical Officer and in accordance with established MEPS policies and procedures.
