Program summary

Immersive, field-based training program preparing service members for a career as a Safety Field Support Specialist. Trainees will support project safety execution across dynamic jobsites, gaining hands-on experience in hazard identification and promoting a strong on-site safety culture

Roles & job description

The Safety Field Support role is responsible for daily on-site observation of civil construction activities. Key duties include verifying contractor adherence to project safety requirements, supporting jobsite inspections, participating in daily pre-shift safety meetings, and maintaining site-specific safety documentation such as Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and incident reports.

Open to all MOS / ratings / AFSCs.

Valid Driver's License and ability to pass site-specific background checks

No cost to service member. Training includes potential path toward OSHA 30 Construction certification
