Cybersecurity Workforce Instructor Fellowship - Hybrid Accelerated Track
Security University's Cybersecurity Instructor Fellowship - Hybrid Accelerated Track provides transitioning service members with hands-on experience in cybersecurity education, technical instruction, curriculum development, laboratory support, and workforce development. Fellows work alongside experienced cybersecurity instructors and staff while developing practical skills in technical training delivery, course preparation, student engagement, and cybersecurity workforce education. The fellowship combines classroom instruction, online instruction, laboratory activities, hands-on demonstration, and on-the-job training.
The Cybersecurity Instructor Fellow supports Security University's cybersecurity training and workforce development programs while receiving structured instruction and on-the-job training. Fellows assist with preparing and delivering cybersecurity instruction, supporting hands-on labs and demonstrations, reviewing and developing instructional materials, mentoring students, researching current cybersecurity technologies and workforce requirements, and supporting course and program improvement activities. Fellows will gain practical experience translating cybersecurity knowledge and operational experience into effective technical instruction for students and cybersecurity professionals.

Active Duty service members within 180 days of separation with command approval. Preferred candidates possess prior IT, cybersecurity, intelligence, or instructional experience and hold at least one cybersecurity certification such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent. Strong communication skills and interest in teaching or workforce development are desired.
