Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic and Scientific Research Corporation (SRC) are teaming together to provide systems engineering,software engineering, logistics, technical, and management support services to multiple program sponsors for 50+ Command, Control, Communications,Computers, Cyber Defense, Combat Systems, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C6ISR) systems.

Roles & job description

Performing software installation of GCCS-M systems onboard U.S. naval vessels, and ashore for Program of Record (POR) and Non-POR sites CONUS and OCONUSPerforming installations using the appropriate installation procedures (IP) and applicable MSUs (Multiple Security Update), including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of GCCS-M software to achieve fully operational system functionalitySupports SOT events and DSGITs; on-board Tech Assists (OBTA) will be required for CASREP supportProviding distance support for troubleshooting both underway and on the pierManaging and providing system engineering services for GCCS-M implementation, maintenance, and site support, including installation and system upgrade support for GCCS-M systemsConducting system audits and pre-deployment system checkouts of GCCS-M in support of a readiness posture, resolves any system discrepanciesTraveling up to 25% (CONUS and OCONUS)
