This is an on the job training program to develop customer service and leadership skills. We will be mentoring the applicants over a 120 day period. The applicants will be given on the job training for property and business management. This opportunity will also include general property maintenance and the necessary administrative functions to run a property management company.
In terms of business management training, the applicant will be immersed in the world of running a rental property business and will be shown general inner workings of what it takes to operate the business. The maintenance management training will help show the applicant what is required when property maintenance is needed to be performed by a third party contractor and how to manage the conduction of that maintenance. The property maintenance portion of the training will give the applicant the skills needed to perform general maintenance tasks required on a property when a third party contractor is not needed. The tenant management portion of the training is to provide the applicant with real world experience working with property tenants needs and concerns effectively and efficiently. The community network training is important to show the applicant the need for community involvement for a business's success and will include community outreach opportunities and small business networking.
