Human Resources Specialist - Internship
The Business Operations, Program Management & Human Resources SkillBridge Intern will participate in a structured training program focused on developing skills in DoD program support, business operations, and workforce management. Participants will gain experience in project coordination, program controls, reporting, and human resources processes within a federal contracting environment. This program prepares Service Members for transition into roles supporting program execution and organizational operations.
The participant will engage in a structured training program covering key aspects of business operations and program management within a DoD environment. Activities include learning project lifecycle fundamentals, supporting schedule tracking and reporting, and participating in risk and issue management processes. Participants will be introduced to program governance, stakeholder coordination, and performance metrics. The program also includes exposure to human resources functions such as recruiting processes, onboarding procedures, and workforce coordination. Participants will complete exercises involving report development, coordination activities, and simulated program support tasks.
