Roles & job description

Perform basic maintenance and diagnosis of mechanical and operational issues of diesel engines, dry vans, reefer units. Help with repairs and maintenance under supervision of experienced mechanics while using various tools and equipment ranging from building and replacing tires to swapping out engines. Assist in purchasing and sourcing of parts and product. Communicate with drivers and shop foreman of the repairs and maintenance work needed. Follow all federal, state, and local laws regarding safety and OSHA.
