Program summary

Golf associate interns will learn Golf Course Operations through each department including Golf Course Management, Pro Shop, Golf Course Maintenance and Small Engine Repair and Maintenance.

Roles & job description

Golf associate interns will learn golf operations including: 1. Golf Course Management- Assist with daily course setup (tee markers, flags, bunker raking, cart staging). Support tournament events: range setup, scoring, player services, crowd/pace management. Learn course rules, etiquette, and guest interaction.2. Merchandizing and sales- Managing inventory, merchandising displays, customer sales, POS systems, and developing retail skills, upselling, and basic business operations.3. Golf course maintenance- Turf management and agronomy, perform mowing, edging, aerification, topdressing, irrigation checks, and pest/weed scouting.4. Small Engine Repair & Maintenance Equipment- Operate and maintain mowers, utility vehicles, blowers, trimmers. Conduct routine inspections, basic repairs, fueling/logging, and preventive maintenance.

Target military occupations

Open to all MOS / ratings / AFSCs.
