Focuses on delivering hands on instruction to individuals entering or advancing in the construction field. Trainee will learn safety protocols, use of tools and equipment, construction techniques, reading blueprints, and complying with industry regulations.
- Assist with the setup and cleanup of construction sites.- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment.- Operate hand and power tools as required.- Follow blueprints, plans, and instructions from supervisors.- Mix, pour, and spread materials like concrete and asphalt.- Put up and dismantle temporary structures such as scaffolding.- Dig trenches, compact earth, and perform basic excavation.- Measure and cut materials to specified dimensions.- Work in all weather conditions and adapt to changing work demands.
