Staff Engineer - Internship to hire
You will play a crucial role on our engineering team, contributing to the success of our projects and helping us deliver outstanding results to our clients. Our fast-paced rotation will lead to engineering career opportunities with an emphasis in one or more of the following: Geotechnical engineering, Construction inspections and testing oversight. Slope stability. Deep foundations, In situ instrumentation, Pavement engineering Bituminous materials, Concrete materials.
We use a variety of opportunities to build a strong foundation by performing some of the following tasks and analysis, under the supervision and mentorship of licensed engineers: • Various field and laboratory tests • Work independently on specific assignments of limited scope and with engineers and on larger projects as a team member • Prepare proposals for geotechnical and material testing projects • Manage basic geotechnical and material testing projects • Maintain client communications and build client relations • Develop solutions, make recommendations, and prepare engineering reports for review

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with geotechnical, materials emphasis, or related • Possess EIT certification or ability to obtain within 6 months • Valid driver's license • Ability to perform field related services at least 50% of time during the program field rotation • Solid written and verbal communication skills • Ability to occasionally lift 50 pounds • Ability to travel up to 25% of time
