The HAZMAT and Pollution Manager is responsible for leading all hazardous materials, pollution response, and environmental compliance operations for maritime salvage and wreck removal projects.

Roles & job description

This role oversees emergency spill response, hazardous cargo recovery, waste management, and pollution mitigation strategies to ensure safe, efficient, and regulatory compliant operations in challenging marine environments. The manager will work closely with salvage masters, project teams, regulatory agencies, and clients to reduce environmental impact, safeguard personnel, and deliver successful outcomes on time-sensitive projects.

Eligibility notes

-Minimum 8-10 yrs of experience in hazardous materials response, pollution control, or environmental management within the maritime or emergency response industry.-Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Marine Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Safety Management, or related field; or equivalent professional experience.-Up to 40% travel, both domestic and international is required based on operational demand
