Radiance Technologies, a rapidly growing employee-owned company, is searching for talented, innovative scientists and engineers with an interest in microelectronics security to join the Microelectronics Technology Operation. Modern embedded systems face security threats across the entire system lifecycle. Addressing these challenges requires individuals with out-of-the-box thinking, innovation and the ability to work across multiple disciplines. Candidate will perform laboratory analysis and imaging of ASICs and SoCs. The candidate will analyze hardware through optical investigation and characterize ASICs and SoCs for power and timing information. The candidate will contribute to and characterize cryptography implementations in hardware and software. Candidate will automate laboratory processes through scripting and software programming. Must work well in a small, fast-paced and mission-driven environment. Will require innovation, quick learning, excellent communication skills and adaptive thinking. There may be some travel associated with this position.

Desired Qualifications: • MS Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or relevant field • Experience with digital ASIC and FPGA design flows involving scripting languages and design automation• Object-oriented programming experience using C++ and/or Java• Experience working with Xilinx FPGAs • Experience with Hardware Security, Cryptography and/or Digital Rights Management• Desired Tool Experience: MATLAB, Python, Xilinx Vivado/ISERequired Experience: • BS in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or relevant field • Experience implementing designs in SystemVerilog/VHDL for FPGAs and/or ASICs• Hands-on experience with JTAG debuggers, logic analyzers and protocol analyzers• Knowledge of the Linux operating systemRequired Tool and Programming Experience:• Xilinx Vivado/ISE• C++ or Java• SystemVerilog• ModelSim• Microsoft Excel• Microsoft Word• Microsoft Power Point
