PMAT is looking for a Software Engineer to collaborate with our team as part of the SkillBridge program, getting hands-on experience while helping to produce technically sound and scalable solutions for mission critical applications. Role Responsibilities: Designs and develops software requirements for multiple data centric products including the software architectures, APIs, frameworks and libraries. Develop bleeding edge software solutions employing modern DevSecOps tools and methodologies utilizing a SOA and microservices approach. Analyze and decomposes activities and requirements to software designs that are allocated across systems components/subcomponents. Aids in formulating a strategy on how to achieve rapid prototyping of capabilities. Stays informed on latest software architectures and trends from design patterns to DevSecOps and systems architecture patterns. Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code. Qualifications: Must be a US Citizen. Bachelors Degree in relevant discipline or equivalent experience. Experience with one or more of the following: Python, C#, Java, JavaScript.. Experience with Agile Development methodologies and tools, including Git, Jira and Confluence. Experience with DevOps technologies and automated build and deploy pipelines, including Git or Jenkins. Experience with Docker/Kubernetes. Must have a current/active TS/SCI
