This plan is aimed to deliver a full breadth orientation and hands on experience resulting in a marketable skillset in the both the public and private power sectors.

Roles & job description

The position the training plan is intended for is a Electrical Power Protection Systems Test Technician. The position centers on the testing and commissioning of electrical power protection systems associated with power generation, transmission and distribution. Duties include testing electrical protection apparatus and components for conformity to industry standard performance specifications, analyzing and troubleshooting issues within power protection systems and performing commissioning/startup protocols.
