Field Service Technician I, II, IIIFLSA: Non-Exempt (Hourly)Travel: 95% Domestic Travel RequiredPower Generation & Distribution Services (PGDS) is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician II to perform industrial electrical testing and substation maintenance projects across the United States.This role requires hands-on experience in electrical testing, troubleshooting, and safe work execution in industrial and utility environments.What You’ll DoPerform circuit breaker inspections and electrical testing (LV/MV)Conduct insulation resistance and grounding testsAssist with and perform secondary injection testingSupport protective relay verification and functional testingAssist with generator startup and commissioning activitiesComplete field documentation and contribute to test reportsWhat We’re Looking For - I0–2 years electrical or industrial experienceBasic understanding of electrical safetyMechanically inclined and willing to learnComfortable using laptops and basic software in field environmentsWhat We’re Looking For - II2–4 years electrical, industrial, or field service experienceAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics and single-line diagramsStrong understanding of electrical safety practicesComfortable using laptops, test equipment software, and digital reporting toolsWhat We’re Looking For - III4–7 years electrical, industrial, or field service experienceStrong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and three-line diagramsExperience working in substation or industrial power environmentsDemonstrated troubleshooting ability with minimal supervisionComfortable using laptops, test equipment software, relay interfaces, and digital reporting toolsRequired Certifications(Must be obtained within first 30 days if not already held)OSHA 30NFPA 70ECPR / AEDLockout / Tagout trainingWork Environment95% Domestic TravelIndustrial and substation environmentsExposure to energized equipmentIndoor and outdoor job sites
