Roles & job description

We are seeking a Client Engineer to drive engineering, sustainment, and modernization of the C2MS client architecture across Air Force Special Operations environments. This role focuses on endpoint architecture, deployment, sustainment, and cyber compliance for mission workstations, VDI, and peripheral integrations, ensuring secure, reliable, and high-performing operator experiences across distributed sites. This position is ideal for transitioning service members with experience in IT, cyber operations, systems administration, maintenance, satellite communications, or similar technical fields. The SkillBridge intern will gain hands-on experience in helping shape the future of C2MS mission client operations and ensure the reliability of the endpoints operators rely on daily.

Position Type: DoD SkillBridge (Fellowship/Internship) — Fulltime, Temporary (Unpaid per DoD policy) Duration: 90–180 days (preferred 120–180 days; target dates flexible based on command approval and candidate availability) Location: Onsite/Hybrid (CONUS) Hurlburt Field/Valparaiso FL Innovation Facility
