Machine Operator and Maintenance Technician
Machine Operator and Maintenance Technician - operate CNC routers, chop saws, edge banders and various wood working tools. Responsibilities include managing the entire production process—from utilizing Mozaik software and operating machinery to finishing, packaging, and shipping the final product.
CNC Router Operation:• Program, set up, and operate CNC routers to cut and shape shelving components and shipping boxes with precision.• Ensure accuracy and consistency in cuts to maintain high product quality.Edge Banding Machine Operation:• Set up and operate edge banding machines to apply seamless edging to shelves.• Monitor edge quality and make necessary adjustments for a uniform finish.Material Handling & Preparation:• Select and prepare materials according to project specifications.• Conduct quality checks on raw materials to meet company standards.• Prepare finished products for shipping.Packaging & Shipping:• Safely package and box products to prevent damage during transit.• Utilize ShipStation software to select cost-effective shipping carriers.Equipment Maintenance:• Perform routine maintenance on CNC routers, edge banding machines, and other equipment.• Identify and troubleshoot any equipment malfunctions.Quality Control:• Inspect finished shelves to ensure proper dimensions, fit, and finish.• Maintain high-quality standards for all products before shipment.Team Collaboration:• Work closely with team members to optimize production efficiency.• Provide input on process improvements and manufacturing feasibility.
