Position OverviewThe Operations and Training Specialist provides administrative and operational support to PGI's project management team. The role focuses on coordinating personnel, training, travel, compliance, recruiting support, and day-to-day program operations to ensure mission readiness and contract compliance.

The role focuses on coordinating personnel, training, travel, compliance, recruiting support, and day-to-day program operations to ensure mission readiness and contract compliance.Primary ResponsibilitiesCoordinate employee travel and travel logistics.Develop and manage training schedules.Ensure personnel meet training and position suitability requirements.Track compliance requirements and training currency.Assist with staffing and recruiting support.Reconcile and code travel expenses.Participate in operational issue resolution.Support invoicing and other administrative functions.Perform additional operational duties as assigned.Required QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred).Minimum of 3 years of operations or administrative experience.Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).Excellent written and verbal communication skills.U.S. Citizen.Ability to pass drug screening.Active Secret security clearance.Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate is:Highly organized and detail-oriented.Comfortable managing multiple priorities simultaneously.Experienced supporting government or defense operations.Strong at coordinating people, schedules, and logistics.Able to work independently while supporting a larger operations team.Strengths of the PositionExcellent transition opportunity for active-duty service members using the DoD SkillBridge Program.Exposure to project management and government contracting operations.Opportunity to gain experience in recruiting, compliance, and program administration.Works directly with program leadership.Located at PGI headquarters with potential networking opportunities across the company.Best FitThis position would be well suited for:Military personnel separating from service.Operations Chiefs.Administrative Chiefs.Training NCOs.Logistics professionals.Personnel administration specialists.Unit Operations Chiefs (S-3/S-1 experience).Executive assistants or operations coordinators.
