The Peer-to-Peer Specialist will work under the direction of the OPFOB Wellness Coordinator to support the mission of combating veteran and first responder suicide through outdoor recreation and peer engagement.
The Peer-to-Peer Specialist will work under the direction of the OPFOB Wellness Coordinator to support the mission of combating veteran and first responder suicide through outdoor recreation and peer engagement. A key responsibility of this role is leading the planning and execution of OPFOB retreats, which includes coordinating with outside entities, participants, and volunteers. This individual will also foster meaningful connections among veterans and first responders, provide mentorship, and assist veterans and first responders in accessing resources while supporting the overall success of OPFOB programs.
