The Executive Sous Chef assists the Executive Chef in overseeing daily culinary operations, including food preparation and production, menu execution, staff supervision, scheduling, food safety compliance, inventory management, cost control, and event support. The Executive Sous Chef is responsible for maintaining culinary quality standards, controlling food and labor costs, supervising kitchen staff, ensuring compliance with sanitation and safety regulations, supporting menu development, and providing leadership, coaching, and operational oversight to ensure exceptional guest experiences and efficient kitchen operations.
The Executive Sous Chef is responsible for the effective management and operation of the public food culinary team including event planning support, scheduling, food preparation and production, food cost control, compliance with food safety and sanitation policies, cleaning, kitchen safety, employee training and supervision, and any other tasks assigned by the GM or Executive Chef.
