Cybersecurity Solutions Specialist will be responsible for the implementation, management, and optimization of network security measures. This role requires a deep understanding of various network and security technologies, including Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, and Microsoft Windows systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in configuring and managing network devices and security tools, as well as a strong background in Windows system management.
Network Security Management:- Configure and manage Cisco switches, routers, and firewalls, including setting up and maintaining Access Control Lists (ACLs), BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.- Implement and oversee Juniper switches and firewalls, focusing on ACLs (Filter Policies), OSPF, and BGP configurations.- Set up, configure, and manage Palo Alto firewalls, including policy creation and management.System Administration:- Manage and maintain Microsoft Windows environments, including MDT (Microsoft Deployment Toolkit), SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager), and Active Directory.- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to network security and system performance.Security Incident Response:- Monitor network traffic and security alerts to detect and respond to potential security incidents.- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and address security weaknesses.Documentation and Reporting:- Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, security policies, and incident responses.- Prepare and present reports on network security status and improvements.Collaboration and Support:- Work closely with IT and network teams to ensure seamless integration of security measures.- Provide guidance and support to junior team members and participate in security training and awareness programs.
Open to all MOS / ratings / AFSCs.
Four years of experience in ACL’s, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP configurations, setting up and configuring policies on PAN’s, MDT, SCCM, and Active Directory.
Four months in the Irvine, CA office.
