The SkillBridge Fellow will receive structured training and supervised experience in higher education student success programming. Training will include curriculum development, college instruction, student mentoring, academic support programming, workshop facilitation, assessment design, student engagement strategies, and higher education administration. The Fellow will work with New Mexico Tech leadership to support student success initiatives and develop reusable student success materials for future institutional use.
This 60-day higher education training experience focused on student success programming, resilience education, curriculum development, workshop facilitation, academic support, mentoring, assessment, and program evaluation. During the program, individuals will develop and help facilitate a proposed 1-credit course tentatively titled "Foundations of Resilience and Student Success" and a supplemental workshop series tentatively titled "The Student Success Battle Rhythm." The program is designed to equip students with practical skills in resilience, organization, goal planning, communication, help-seeking, accountability, stress management, and academic recovery.
A PhD in a Education is required.
