C2360 Fleet Maintenance and Radiological Support Division Engineer
The Fleet Maintenance and Radiological Support Division (FMRSD), Code 2360, is part of the Nuclear Engineering and Planning Department, Code 2300, Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY), Portsmouth, Virginia. The division provides radiological and nuclear maintenance training and engineering support to operational Fleet assets. Further, it develops and maintains Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program (NNPP) corporate radiological and nuclear trade skills training materials used by maintenance activities, Prototypes, Laboratories, and the Fleet.
Job Title: Nuclear Engineer, GS-05 through GS-12Job Description: The primary function of this position is to serve as a Nuclear Engineer responsible for providing radiological engineering and nuclear engineering advice to the Fleet in connection with routine and non-routine radioactive work performed.
