Join NSWC Carderock, Maryland (Code 618) as a Hybrid Additive Manufacturing and CNC Technician (Engineering Technician 0802 series). This SkillBridge program offers a pathway to a rewarding career. Program duration is flexible: 180 days standard, or 90 days for participants with relevant experience or specific training needs.
This SkillBridge opportunity offers a developmental role where the participant will progressively build expertise as an Additive Manufacturing Technician. The role involves hands-on experience with metal hybrid additive/subtractive CNC mills, including CAD/CAM, and hybrid manufacturing processes. The participant will contribute to research and development of new components for the Navy and Marine Corps, train active-duty personnel, and provide direct support to deployed units on system operation and component creation.
