Government Physical Security & Antiterrorism Specialist
Transitioning U.S. Navy Master-at-Arms, U.S. Marine Corps Military Police. Internship for Physical Security / Antiterrorism position provides transitioning service members an opportunity to apply military law enforcement, physical security, and force protection experience in a civilian security environment supporting a Navy Warfare Center mission. This internship is designed to help participants translate operational experience into a federal civilian or contractor career pathway comparable to a Physical Security Specialist (GS-0080 series equivalent) or Antiterrorism Officer (ATO) role. The intern will gain structured exposure to physical security program support, antiterrorism planning, compliance assessments, vulnerability mitigation, and coordination with command. Also supporting the intern in fulfilling prerequisites and preparing for the Center for Development of Security Excellence (CDSE) Physical Security Certification-PSC (Primary) and Antiterrorism Credential-ATC (Secondary).
