National Cemetery Administration (NCA) - Job Training Program
The Cemetery Administration Specialist is the face of the National Cemetery Administration’s workforce. The Cemetery Administration Specialist provides administrative support in compliance with the National Cemetery Administration standards by providing dignified burial services for Veterans and eligible family members of more than 150 cemeteries as national shrines to commemorate their legacy, service and sacrifice to our nation.
The Cemetery Administration Specialist represents the cemetery and the entire NCA at committal services at the National Cemetery, and at outreach events, answering questions and providing information to Veterans regarding memorial benefits. The Cemetery Administration Specialist provides a high degree of care and compassion as they interact with bereaved Veterans and their families, while acting as a liaison in the coordination of arrangements with all components involved in the ceremony.
