Provide service members an opportunity to gain applicable civilian work experience within NASCAR and motorsports. This opportunity provides industry training to service members that will allow them to enter the civilian workforce and excel in motorsports or other engineering-focused roles. This 21-week internship will be broken down into 7 learning blocks lasting 3 weeks each.
During each block of instruction, the service member will be introduced to a facet of the industry while also participating in civilian transition courses put on by NASCAR employees. These civilian transition courses will build on knowledge and skills learned in their branch transition assistance program.
