Military Solution is seeking transitioning service members interested in a SkillBridge internship as an Automotive Technician. This full-time internship is designed for active-duty military personnel during their final 180 days of service. Interns receive hands-on training under certified technicians and gain valuable experience in alignment with ASE certification standards.

Military Solution LLC is offering a DoD SkillBridge internship for transitioning service members interested in a civilian career in automotive repair and service. This full-time internship takes place at participating dealership service centers and provides hands-on, structured training aligned with ASE certification standards.This opportunity is available to active-duty military members during their final 180 days of service and is designed to bridge the gap between military service and civilian employment. Interns remain on active duty and are fully covered by the military for pay, benefits, and insurance throughout the internship.Duties and Responsibilities:Perform routine vehicle maintenance: oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, fluid checks, and battery replacementConduct multi-point inspections and complete documentationAssist with OEM warranty repairs and follow dealership service workflowsUse diagnostic tools including OBD-II scanners and multimetersParticipate in vehicle intake, dispatch, and parts request processesSupport senior technicians with repairs in areas such as HVAC, drivability, electrical, or hybrid systemsLearn and apply shop safety standards, tool use, and service proceduresTrack progress against training competencies throughout the internship

Eligibility notes

Active-duty service member eligible for DoD SkillBridgeMechanical background preferred (e.g., MOS 3521 Motor Transport Mechanic or equivalent)Strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and desire to learnReliable, safety-conscious, and professional demeanor
