HVAC & Refrigeration Technician

This MCS opportunity is designed to provide transitioning service members with comprehensive, hands-on training in HVAC and refrigeration systems within residential and commercial environments. Participants will be trained on the installation, maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of HVAC and refrigeration systems including package units, split systems, walk-ins, ice machines, and chillers. Training of repair and maintenance will strictly follow ASHRAE Standards. The program includes safety training, technical skills development, and real-world service call experience under the supervision of experienced technicians. Join a team to Make Communities Shine.
Responsibilities include maintaining and repairing Package units, Split systems, Mini splits, Swamp coolers, Cooling, towers, Chillers, Reach-ins, Walk-ins, Ice machines, Coolers, Freezers • Installing, maintaining and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment. • Identifying maintenance risks on equipment. • Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems. • Cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems, and performing warranty services. • Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently. • Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act. • Complying with service standards, work instructions and customers' requirements. • Assisting with customers' queries.
Priority will be given to transitioning service members with applicable training and experience as it pertains to HVAC, Mechanical and other applicable skillsets.
Training will be conducted in Tempe, AZ. MCS also operates in multiple locations across the United States, offering potential transfer opportunities upon program completion.
