Solar Grazing & Vegetation Maintenance Internship
The Integrated Solar Grazing and Vegetation Management Technician SkillBridge program provides transitioning Service Members with hands-on training in vegetation control within solar arrays using a combination of sustainable rotational livestock grazing and mechanical equipment.
Participants will develop practical skills in sheep healthcare, safe livestock handling, and farm management. Participants will be exposed to equipment operation including mowers, weed-eaters, tractors, implements, trucks, and trailers. Participants will gain hands on experience and mentorship in vegetation identification, rotational grazing, and forage management. Workplace safety will be emphasized while working under real-world field conditions. The program incorporates industry-recognized certifications and prepares participants for employment in solar vegetation management, farming/agriculture, and grounds maintenance/landscaping.
