Marine Corps Base Hawaii Library - Job Training Program
This internship is designed to help candidates who have completed or are working on a Masters program in Library Science obtain necessary job experience in order to secure a job as a librarian.
This position will encompass several aspects of public librarianship, to include circulation, cataloging, reference, collection development, programming, budgeting, and management. You will work closely with professional librarians to learn the day to day aspects of their jobs.
Open to all MOS / ratings / AFSCs.
Must have a graduate degree in library science or be actively enrolled in a graduate library science program.
Practical work experience is vital to obtaining a position in the library science field. This position is designed to provide servicemembers with this practical work experience.
