Join the MTA Communications team and gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of government and public relations. Working directly with the Director of Communications, you will help execute regional outreach strategies, manage media tracking, and maintain our digital presence. This role is designed for a transitioning service member looking to translate their communication, coordination, and leadership skills into a career in public policy or corporate PR.
The Public Relations Coordinator provides vital support to the Director of Communications and Government/Public Relations (DCGPR) in executing the MTA’s communication strategies. This role focuses on the day-to-day coordination of public outreach, media tracking, and digital content maintenance to foster positive relationships with the community, stakeholders, and government entities.

• Service Status: Must be an active-duty service member within 180 days of separation (EAS/EAOS/RETSHO).• Command Authorization: Must obtain written approval from their Unit Commander prior to start date.• Conduct: Must be in good standing and eligible for an Honorable Discharge.
