Join the MTA Information Technology Services (ITS) team to gain hands-on experience maintaining the critical infrastructure of the E-ZPass Toll Collection system. In this role, you will bridge the gap between hardware and software, supporting traffic signals, variable message signs, and count stations. You will act as a key liaison between maintenance providers and internal departments, ensuring the "always-on" reliability of regional transportation technology.
Under direction of the ITS Director, the position provides support / maintenance activities for the E-ZPass Toll Collection. Other responsibilities include the traffic count stations, variable message signs, traffic signals, and other ITS applications, as directed. This includes communication between maintenance service providers, MTA information services department, other internal MTA departments, and external parties. This position will complete maintenance tasks not covered by the system service agreements.
