Fire Sprinkler Design Technicians play a vital role in enhancing fire safety by providing efficient and effective solutions for all types of building structures. Specific responsibilities include: Design Development: Collaborate with engineering teams to develop detailed fire sprinkler system designs based on project requirements, building codes, and industry standards. System Layout: Create layout drawings, hydraulic calculations, and material lists for fire sprinkler systems using three-dimensional CAD software and other design tools. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs meet local, state, and national fire codes, as well as NFPA standards and other relevant regulations. Technical Support: Provide technical support to project managers, field technicians, and other stakeholders throughout the design, installation, and testing phases of projects. Coordination: Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure smooth project execution. Fabrication: Develop accurate, complete material lists and fabrication details for all system components.
