VetConnect - SkillBridge Internship Program

Program summary

• Candidates for this and every DOD Skillbridge opportunity with Leaf Home can intern from 60 – 180 days.• Candidates must be able at least 11-months away from separation of service.• If you are a military spouse and registered with the Department of Defense’s Military Spouse Career Accelerator Pilot (MSCAP) program, you can start immediately.• Candidates will be trained and perform the duties of an Installation Manager during internship. During and before internship is complete, the assigned supervisor will evaluate the candidate’s performance and potential to be hired upon completion of internship. Roles & job description

The Corporate Recruiter is responsible for full-cycle recruiting across Leaf Home’s corporate departments including Finance, Marketing, IT, HR, Legal, and more. This role partners with hiring managers to attract, engage, and hire high-performing talent that aligns with Leaf Home’s culture and business goals. The ideal candidate is proactive, resourceful, and passionate about delivering a best-in-class candidate experience in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:• Manage full-cycle recruitment for corporate positions, from intake meetings to offer negotiation and onboarding coordination• Partner with department leaders to understand workforce needs and align talent strategies with business objectives• Develop and execute sourcing strategies using job boards, social media, LinkedIn Recruiter, employee referrals, and networking• Screen, interview, and evaluate candidates to ensure culture and role alignment• Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future roles• Collaborate with People Operations and HR to ensure a seamless onboarding process• Maintain accurate and timely data in the ATS (Greenhouse, iCIMS, or similar)• Track and report on recruiting metrics (time to fill, source of hire, diversity outreach, etc.)• Promote Leaf Home’s employment brand through content, events, and networking opportunities• Stay informed about trends and best practices in recruitment and employer branding
