Defense, Military, and National Security Consulting as a Senior Associate-Subject Matter Expert (Defense and Military) at the O-6+ level on the Joint Staff, COCOM Staff (J-1 to J-8), O-6 level command experience, or a Military Service Staff (x-Codes) experience.
Provide Advisory/Subject Matter Expertise (SME) to Jones Group International’s (JGI) clients across one or more of the J-Codes andX-Codes (i.e., J1 to J8, G1 to G-8, N1 to N8, A1 to A8, etc.). 2. Within areas of expertise, provide Advisory/SME to JGI and oversight of key activities of anIntegrated Master Plans (IMP). a. Provide Senior level strategic planning and execution guidance. b. Provide advisory support/SME in the development andexecution of an Integrated Master Plan that does not degrade current operational capability and readiness to JGI’s clients. 3. Within areas of expertise,provide Advisory/SME to key Transformation outputs (i.e., Threat Based Architecture, Doctrine, Readiness, Facilities, Training, Strategic Plan, HRStrategies, Organizational Support Training, etc.) as required. a. Provide Senior level strategic guidance to the Integrated Master Plan development toensure it follows a logical sequence and includes, at a minimum, the development of the following: Threat based architecture, Joint Domain Doctrine,Readiness Standards, Facilities Consolidation plan, Strategic Plan, Human Resource Plan, Training unification and synchronization plan, EquipmentReallocation Plan, Risk Management, and Lessons Learned. 4. Within areas of expertise, provide Advisory/SME for organizational design andorganizational change activities. a. Provide Senior level strategic guidance/SME to develop an approach to evaluate existing “as-is” organizations for roles,responsibilities, and manning as needed to align decision rights and authorities as a generate force and support documenting current state organizationand processes and identify opportunities for improvement through a Unified Force per the approved Target Operating Model. b. ProvideAdvisory/SME in preparing directives to provide strategic-level guidance for implementing the organizational structure. Advise in drafting planswithin areas of expertise for realigning personnel to support organizational structure. 5. Lessons Learned support. a. Within areas of expertise, provideSenior-level strategic guidance/SME to support evaluation of lessons learned and provide recommendations to inform future Transformation efforts.
