The Junior Project Manager is an essential team member responsible for assisting in project planning, execution, and monitoring. They work closely with senior project managers to ensure projects are on track, within budget, and meet quality standards. Key responsibilities include coordinating project tasks, tracking progress, preparing reports, and supporting communication among team members and stakeholders. Junior Project Managers are instrumental in facilitating project success and gaining valuable experience in project management practices.
Objective: The Jr. Project Manager is responsible for the successful performance to task orders and contract execution, including the cost and product delivery elements.Job Description:Responsible for the structured coordination of planning and execution of product releases across specifically assigned cross functional teams;Track and manage projects, providing weekly progress reports against the planAssist with planning, monitoring, and control of feature release plans.Facilitate an environment allowing the cross-functional team to deliver projects to meet established goals objectives;Oversee the completion of all aspects of projects; develop and adhere to master plans schedules;Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time and within scope;Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques;Report and escalate to Manager as needed;Ensure deliverables meet quality standards, are consistent; and satisfy both external and internal requirements;Ensure programs remain on budget and communicate budget/funding concerns to internal and external leadership;Communicate project/program requirements to gain management support;Identify possible improvements in the work process for customers;Pursue a program of self-development using selected reading, seminars or participation in continuing education;Additional duties as assigned.Employment Status:Full-time (40 hours per week). Salaried. Exempt.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree (Preferred);Minimum of 1 year of relevant Project Management experience;Excellent computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Office software; expert in Microsoft Excel;Well-developed written and oral communication skills.
