Machine Operator - Internship
Frontier Co-op Machine Operator - An internship with Frontier Co-op will provide you with experience and knowledge of how to safely and productively work with food processing equipment. You will be given opportunities to experience all aspects of food manufacturing and packaging. This internship will work directly with all production staff, production management, maintenance, engineering and quality assurance departments. Frontier finds it important to start all machine operators learning basic production worker tasks to set them up for success and have a wholistic understanding of how production operates.
Frontier Co-op Machine Operator - SUMMARY Perform all tasks involved in the production of Frontier’s products. Follow standard processes, practices, and safe work habits to ensure that production is as efficient and safe as possible. Performs general tasks in the area such as boxing, filling, labeling, and cleaning
Open to all MOS / ratings / AFSCs.
Mechanically inclined, strong computer skills, attention to quality, ability to work within a team, and ability to thrive in a constant changing environment. Criminal background check and a lifting physical. SkillBridge and Frontier Partnership Outcome Once the intern has successfully completed all training and assessments, HR will work with the manager and the intern to discuss openings within the company. Our goal is to successfully onboard a machine operator on 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts each year through this program.
